Receive support with essential activities while continuing to do what you can and what you enjoy. Depending on individual needs and care arrangements, visits may include:

Essential activities and independence

  • Help with washing and personal hygiene
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Help using the toilet and managing incontinence
  • Help getting up and going to bed
  • Help moving around and with mobility

  • Activities to maintain or support independence

Company, relief and life at home

  • Individual supervision, according to needs and applicable arrangements
  • Relief for family carers
  • Routine housework
  • Laundry care
  • Shopping for basic necessities

Long-term care insurance support depends on the AEC assessment, the CNS decision and the applicable summary of care. A service appearing in this list does not mean that its funding is automatic. Some services may fall under a private agreement; their terms and price will be explained before the visit.

According to medical prescriptions and applicable rules

Understanding financial coverage

Long-term care insurance, nursing care and private services follow different rules. We want each person to understand what is covered and what they will need to pay.
